Hello!

I’m Georgie,

Life coach to professional women, founder of Chasing Lobsters, intuitive, empath, and general life enthusiast.

I’m also;

  • Mum to the beautiful Maxwell & Finn

  • Wife to the gorgeous Graham,

  • Walker to the wonderful Rua,

  • and totally passionate about supporting you in this thing called life.

Chasing Lobsters began for me in Summer 2014,

but my journey towards it really began in 2012 when I had a car accident that forever altered the direction of my life. I thought I was going to die, and that changed me. Thankfully I came through it without a scratch, but it was a wake-up-and-shake-up call to live MY life, MY way.

After that, something was different. I was different. I was less willing to put my life on pause to be the good Army wife and toe the line laid out in front of me. I wanted to live my life my way. I decided my dreams, desires, and ambition would never take a back seat to those of others - instead I’d learn how we could all rise together!

What followed was a decision

(thankfully supported by my wonderful husband of just one year) to leave my thriving chiropractic practice in Shropshire, England, and head to the French Alps to pursue a lifelong dream of mine; a ski season. I set up a mobile chiropractic business ‘BODY SOS’ with my best friend, and our business and clientele flourished and thrived. The scale of that achievement sparked an expansive feeling of what’s possible and what I was capable of… life and its opportunities got very exciting!

My beloved chiropractic career (truly I loved it so!), then took another shake-up when in November 2014 we decided to move to Louisiana where my husband had been posted to work with the US Army for two years, but I was unable to practice.  Amidst the concerns of losing my identity as ‘Dr. Georgie the chiropractor’, I also saw an opportunity for change, growth, adventure, self-development and personal discovery – an opportunity to question actually not ‘what can I do’ or ‘what will I do’ but rather ‘what do I want to do?’. With that simple question things very quickly transitioned from terrifying to the most exciting journey of my life and it continues to form the foundations of everything I do personally and in my work with clients.

Before heading to Lousiana and hitting ‘pause’ on my career, I vowed to keep myself active and inspired in pursuing my own business, health, financial and adventurer dreams, whilst continuing to empower others to also take steps towards a vibrant, healthy life they love. And so I excitingly launched a blog; ‘Chasing Lobsters’, after all - “The world is your lobster!”.

Chasing Lobsters and it’s mission, my mission, led to me rediscovering myself, reconnecting with my dreams and my desires, facing off with some big self-worth issues, and ultimately learning how to unravel myself from the person I felt others needed me to be so that I could become who I needed me to be; myself! What I created in that space paved the foundations of who I am personally, and how I show up professionally to this day!

As I have grown and evolved, so has Chasing Lobsters.

The blog sparked enquiries from lovely followers about supporting them more personally in their health goals, which very organically led me to training and offering coaching services, workshops and programmes in 2015. A coaching business was born and continues to thrive and expand today!

Commencing initially as a health and wellness coach (incorporating all that chiropractic expertise and magic) it didn’t take long for me to realise that none of the external changes happen until the internal environment is cleaned up. This led to a more holistic, whole-human approach to life coaching. As a perennial student and life-long learner, I’ve continued to study and develop my skills as a coach and facilitator of professional development, deep healing, and personal transformation.

Over the last 8 years

I have coached hundreds of clients, amassed thousands of coaching hours, run workshops internationally, joined the faculty of Elementum Coaching Institute, and continue to work with clients across the globe.

My passion for supporting professional women really arose as I saw time and time again, brilliant, ambitious women struggling; over-stretched, and undernourished in their otherwise beautiful life, feeling the need to choose between professional success and personal fulfillment. That is not their only option and I became passionate about supporting them in recognising that and shifting their own reality.

Today, Chasing Lobsters is a home for these women.

A playground for them to come and reconnect with themselves, repair that relationship, find their way to fulfillment in ALL arenas, uplevel their professional success with ease, develop themselves as a leader, and connect with other beautiful women, marching a similar march along the way.

I have had the pleasure of supporting high-performing individuals across vast industries; from c-suite executives to professional athletes, internationally acclaimed academics, platinum musicians, business owners, philanthropists, and more. It’s truly one of my greatest privileges, most impactful work, and deepest joys!

Chasing Lobsters is also no longer just me. We are now a team of highly trained, gloriously masterful coaches whose shared mission is to support you. Continued professional development, commitment to our own inner ‘work’, and collective support of your elevation and growth is central to what we do.

I’m forever grateful for that wake-up call in 2012 and the life shake-ups that allowed the lessons from my Dad, that ‘the world is my lobster’ to ring true and allow me to pivot my life and create something I adore.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

It’s built me glorious businesses, relationships, adventures, and ultimately, tonnes of fun, fulfillment and joy!

I am committed to supporting you in creating the same, which is why I am so delighted to have you here!

So hello! I am Georgie Muir, this is Chasing Lobsters, and you are so very welcome!
